Richard de Ridder

richardDr. Richard de Ridder (1946) is social psychologist, researcher, trainer and consultant in the field of conflict management, negotiation and (cross-cultural) multi-party collaboration. He studied in Nijmegen and Paris. From 1973 to 2001 he was employed by Tilburg University; after his PhD in 1980 as associate professor in social psychology. Since 1995 he is director of Intercultural Conflict Communication & Negotiation (ICCN). He has extensive expertise in training and consulting of international teams, diplomats, professionals in complex organizations, and military officers (in preparation of peace keeping missions). Fluent in English and French and with a reasonable mastery of Spanish, he worked in several countries, such as USA, France, India, Mexico, Peru and Kazakhstan.
